Contemporary Concepts® traces its roots back to a family-owned custom wood cabinetry shop begun in 1984 in Nash, Texas. Working alongside his father as a young boy, Dustin Hughes started out sanding doors during his summers and developed a love for woodwork and a passion for quality craftsmanship. After learning how to operate the company’s first CNC machine at age 17, Dustin saw a future in commercial cabinetry. In 2001, Contemporary Concepts® was born, blending the handcrafted quality Dustin learned from his father with state-of-the-art computerized equipment. Today, CCI has quickly become a leading architectural casework mill, serving contractors, architects and individual customers across the nation.
